Are all you teachers PGA Qualified?
The teaching professionals at JWhitaker Golf are all either PGA qualified or undertaking their PGA training. Professionals still undertaking training only teach under the stringent observation of Head PGA Professional James Whitaker.
Do I have to pay for lessons upfront?
Lessons can be paid for in advance if purchasing a package, providing a cheaper hourly rate. However lessons can be paid for on an individual basis to the teaching professional prior to, or following your session.
Can non-members use the driving range?
Anyone can come to use the driving range facilities at Moor Allerton Golf Club. We do ask however, that all driving range users report into the Pro Shop prior to starting their practice and maintain the club’s dress code.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are available in any denomination from the JWhitaker Golf Shop and can be used to purchase goods from the shop or alternatively be spent on custom fitting and tuition. You do not have to specify which area gift vouchers will be spent in when purchasing.
Do you stock ladies clothing?
JWhitaker Golf stocks a wide rang of ladies clothing, footwear and accessories by Nike, Galvin Green, Green Lamb, Glenmuir, Footjoy, Daily Sports and Rohnisch.
Do you cater for left handed golfers?
JWhitaker Golf stocks a moderate selection of left handed clubs, with a wider range available to try from our custom fitting center. If you are wishing to try out new clubs, book yourself in for a fitting with one of our custom fitting experts on a no obligation to buy basis. Left-handed hire sets are also available from JWhitaker Golf.
